Evil Workout #1

Okay, so i have taken the bull by the horns and started my for real work out program that will run for the next 50 weeks of the year. I have vowed to work out 5 of the 7 days. One down only 249 more days to go. No problem right? RIGHT!

Worked out for 30 minutes....cranked up Mambo #5 and a few other old favorites with a dance beat and wiggled my flab around until I was really sweaty. My reward? So far just sweat and a somewhat good feeling about my resolution. I am after all 1/250th of the way there.

Yeah me!

Hey this is Barb's husband Royce, congratultions on starting to workout. I started back a little while ago (ex-high school football jock, now just a fat man.....sucks). I don't know if this is something you would enjoy but check out dragondoor.com specifically the section on kettlebells, it does sound like you have something you are passionate about doing ( dancing )and that is 75% of the battle. Also just a thought to encourage you, a friend of mine at an old workplace lost 75 pounds just dancing three days a week and using portion control, she at first wasn't even trying to loose weight just found a friend that like dancing.

Thank you for the encouragement. I laughed when you said your friend danced with a partner. What i do for exercise...i call dance...but it can only be done in the dark at unknown locations as anyone with the vision of me dancing will be blinded immediately!

Trailady...good effort...and now...where are my good results? LOL Paitence isn't my virtue...i am afterall done with the patience lesson and ready to move on!
