workout #5

Alrighty...hard to believe but i have actually lived one whole week of my New Year's resolution!

Yeah me!!! Tomorrow is reward day....i am going to take a long hot bubble bath and do my toe nails!

I went to my foster parent class today...it was great...i am going to love being a foster parent so much.

i am working on my evil closet so i am gonna run now.

Hey, just bought a kettlebell, for a lack of a better description it is a cannonball with a very thick handle. It is an old time strongman tool that has just begun to be popular again, and I have a pretty nice home gym.
So my goal for this year is to work out 3 times a week with cardio( running ) and the kettlebell, what I do is pick 4 excersizes and do them twice, once each side of my body, ie, overhead press left side then right side. Hear is the kicker I have to jog 1/8 of a mile in between each excersize. And once a week I do a full body powerlifting type workout, Ok that is the plan. Hear is the problem, the cardio done circuit style is so brutal that I can't even complete 1/4 of the workout without feeling like I am going to puke I almost gave up one week into the workout, then I sat down and read your blog, got up and did 1/4 of my planned workout, and breathed hard for the next 20 minutes after it was over. It came to me, I will just make the beggining of the workout my workout, untill it is comfortable and the do half then 3/4 and so on.
Sad thing is the 4 excersizes and 1 mile jog is the beginer workout.
Oh well, I did it and I felt good after I was done!!!!

Royce good job! some work out is better than no work out at all and you'll work your way up without a doubt.

Gotta love that after the workout buzz!
