Ken Bursey

i was reading nikki's blog and the mere title...question everything....makes me think of the man. He was,,,,um is...a very creative man. He made me think...which was a huge task. He always called me "cooper" and he liked me despite the fact that i was Kelly's little sister and had no where near the scholastic ablities of my obviously genius sister. my sister and i did have one thing in common...we both talked to much in class. We both complained that Bursey would scold us for talking even if we weren't but he heard talking and did not see who was talking. LOL

Now i am sure that Bursey would want me to remember him as the teacher who inspired me to love to read....or made me interested in finding answers for what i believe....but no...that's not what i remember most....what i remember most is the "sentance" Here it is

"It has come to my teachers attention that my mouth has become an active motor which rather difficult to find the switch that shuts off the powersource....Henceforth after serious and careful study i have decided to write reminders to myself in large quanities to ensure peace and tranquility in my lifetime of 75 years or there abouts."

Think i wrote that "sentance" a few times? LOL it's what 16 years or so and i still remember.

The other thing i remember was the egg drop and being afraid he was gonna fall off the water tower when he was climbing the ladder of the water tower with the trash bag of eggs over his shoulder....oh by the way....my egg made it...did yours?
