updating you guys

Okay....well the health news isn't wonderful...my sugars are up...my blood pressure is up....as is my heart rate. I've been poked and prodded so much that I wonder if my doc hasnt mistaken me for his voodoo doll.

I am on about 4 medications to lower this...and regulate that....and am having more tests done...blah blah blah. I am also on this new evil diet....1 meal and 9...yes count them NINE snacks. Who can eat that many times in a day???? Eeeek.

I've lost a total of 26 lbs since about this time last month. Really can't object to that....i owe God 26 bucks...I think I'll make Him a new deal...this time I'll give Him 2 bucks if He'll make me loose weight and make me healthy and rich while He does it. :)

Royce you asked me a while back how i give my money to God and if God needs money anyways...the answer is no God doesn't need money. And i am going to give my money to a local animal shelter to use to take care of animals in need. Investment projects are really more for the investor than the investee anyways...i am going to get to be a drop dead gorgeous red headed BABE and i'll get to know my contribution saved the life of a helpless animal....God's happy because everytime i get on that scale at work He knows that i am thinking of and usually thanking Him for His help in my weight loss and it's fun to have Him as a work out partner. i hope i won't have to sweat in heaven!

Totally cool about the weight. Not so cool about the health. I'm sorry to hear it.
And about the giving money to God, I was just ribbing you, however your response is very deep. I am totally impressed. You are thinking about your beliefs and your desires as they relate to you faith, and acting accordingly. Most christians i have known use religion as a way to not think.
You have a very kind and very compassionate though process goin' on. Awesome!!

Royce,

Deb,

Glad you are getting health care, although I wouldn't want to be on the other end of that voodoo doll right now! I recently took my 10 year old in to have some blood drawn for testing. Have Mercy! You would think he was being offered his last meal and a blindfold.

Glad to hear the weight is coming off. However, I'm not too fond of the snack yourself silly method of weight loss. It's called, your stomach works day and night, getting no rest and therefore forcing you to lose weight. While it may work now, I'm afraid your stomach will eventually rebel against this plan. So, let's hope the endless snacking is just temporary. I care so much about you and I want you to stay healthy!

By the way, thanks for sticking up for all the little animals. My son wants a bird. I refuse. I told him that God gave birds wings (in most cases other than the penguin) and the whole sky to fly in and it was shameful for us to put them in little cages for our own entertainment. I won't have an aquarium for the same reason. I'm making my stand for God's creatures. You know, the ones He asked us to take care of, way back in Genesis!

Edict recieved and understood, no mre Deb teasing. LOL
Wist/palm/tendon thingy doing MUCH better, just have to learn to ease into things and back off once in a while. I ain't 18 anymore, seriously at 34 I didn't think there would be any difference. I though at 50 or 60 maybe but not 34, DO'OH I was wrong.

Deb,

While I said that I'm not too fond of the snack yourself silly diet. Never once did I ask you to not obey your doctor's orders. In fact, I wrote that I hoped it would only be temporary. Evidently, this has caused problems with one of your friends. I apologize if in any way your health was harmed by my merely expressing my opinion on this matter. Again, I'm not trying to tell you what to do, I was just giving my opinion.

Hey Deb, BUMMER! I had to eat many small meals a day while pregnant. 1) Because I'm a small person and baby took up so much room that's all I could fit. 2) My Hypoglycemia was causing me major problems. I'm back to eating a normal diet now and this snack diet is probably not permanent for you either...
