Okay so i am playing voo doo doll for my Doctor's sick twisted fetish of poking anything that comes with in his arm span with needles. Fine i can deal.
I go on the snack yourself silly method of dieting and eat until i think i must be growing a second stomach. Find i can deal
Now....i have a crippling headache and have all week....i am miserable so i tromp off to dr voodoo and the newest development is ....drum roll please....strict bed rest because my keytones are seriously elevated. He wanted to put me in the hospital and i am having none of that. So now dr voo doo has me on insulin shots. Okay i have to stick myself with a needle...these are not positive developments folks. Not positive at all....what's next? Wait wait don't answer that! He is going to call me tomorrow and if my sugars aren't lower and i am not feeling much better i am supposed to go to the hospital. He's gonna call me at noon.
i am like a walking pharmacy now...potassium...gluca-something or other, some sort of blood pressure lowering med...insulin....can i please also have a pill that makes me rich? That would be a useful pill at least and that way i could pay for all these expensive (even with a copay) medicines. Am i sounding bitter? Yes...oh good because I AM!
So how is everyone else doing? Royce are your wrists better yet? Barb I don't know what to do about your knee...perhpas you should visit dr voodoo. Trialady...did you get your puppy yet?

Yeah, see why I could never become an IV drug user ( among other reasons...LOL ).
Wrist would be even better if I backed off it more. It has no pain but I get these weak spells in it. Dunno'.
Hope things get better Ketosis is nothing to play around with, it can overload your kidneys, baaaad stuff. Get better soon!
If the doctor really thinks you need to go to the hospital you probably should go - if your sugars are that out of control its nothing to mess around with. Hope you don't have to go, hospitals aren't much fun, trust me I'm in one right now (work), but diabetic complications can be really serious, sounds like yours might be kind of serious. I hope things get better soon. Most of the time, once they get things regulated and under control its usually pretty easy to keep them that way if you follow their orders. I know, its not fun. I have alot of diabetes in my family. I'm trying to change my ways now to aviod getting it.
My knee isn't anything compared to whats going on with you, but thank you for asking.
We are all thinking about you. Sorry things are so bad right now. I know we only know each other through our blogs, but we really are real people on the other side of the computer and we are thinking about you and hoping for good things.
