Good morning! Happy Wednesday!

There are 16 days left until we go to Disney land!!!!!! It will be Eric's first (obviously) and it will also be Rob's first time. I am so looking forward to it.

Rob's mom is still in the hospital. She should be home tonight or tomorrow. The house is all but finished now. There is still a bit of cleaning to do. I went last night and cleaned out the kitchen cabinets and shelf papered them. Shelf paper works wonders! Not sure who invented it but they were wise and wonderful.

The bad news is that now that the family room looks so wonderful the living room and kitchen look....well... worse than they did. The wall that combines the kitchen and the living room is this horrible (and I am being nice here) mauve color. It needs to go. That wall shouldn't be too hard to correct...but when we fix the looks of that wall then the rest of the kitchen will need painting and since the kitchen and the living room are basically the same room of course the family room needs redoing too. Home improvement has this huge snowballing effect. I imagine by the time we are done in the other rooms it will be time to redo the family room.

I need a dogsitter for our trip. I've made plans for a friend of mine at work to watch them...but she has 3 kids, two dogs and a cat. The other animals aren't a problem (the cat might be if Rafiqe is quick enough to catch it) but the real problem is that Sweet Pea chews and I am afraid the whole toy collection will fall victim to Sweet Pea's plastic fetish. The back up plan is leaving them at the apartment and having a different friend of mine drop in everyday and look after them.

Rob's check engine light came on last night. He's getting it checked out today....hope it's nothing too big because mula is a little tight. The fact of the matter is there is a leak in my checking account. I am sure there is because I keep putting money in there and it keeps disappearing. Argh.
