Hi folks,

Rob's Mom had her surgery on May 30, 2008. The surgeon stated she has what is called a frozen pelvis (she had cancer last year and they did radiation which is what caused this condition.)and so they had to do a complete bowel resection.

She had some complications after surgery (conjestive heart failure and a blood clot in her lung) that she has bounced back from. Right now she is leaking and isn't allowed anything by mouth so she is being fed with something called TPN (IV food). We are just in hurry up and wait mode for the next week or so. Our hope is that the tissue isn't too damaged by the radiation to heal. Please say a prayer that it heals.
