Happy Wednesday

Oye!

2 days and my baby will be 9 months old. How did that happen? I have pictures to post of her but they are at home and I am at work.

Life in Debville remains interesting to say the least. Ellen (Rob's mom) is much better. She is going back to work on Friday...weird day to go back but hey whatever flips yer pickle.

When Ellen moved in while she was sick Abby moved out of her room and into ours. So now that Ellen got better and moved back home we have moved Abby out of our room and into her own room. I am sad. I miss her little sleeping noises and being able to open my eyes and see her in the crib.

Rob and I are working things out. This past week has gone very smoothly which I am so thankful for. I very much needed a week of peace.

Rob is still out of work. He's diligently looking for employment but it's not so easy to find. There is also the babysitter dilema. Unless he works second shift it's pretty much useless for him to work because by the time we pay a babysitter it's almost a break even situation. In addition he wants to go to school for AC repair. We've got some thinking to do on that front.

Speaking of AC repair...we needed a repair guy this weekend. Sheesh....we were hot! It was only 91 in the house but it is monsoon season and very very humid. Abby is remarkably unphased by heat. Of course Rob and I did a lot of the famous "The rain drops fall with a pitter pitter pat" while spraying Abby with a water bottle.

Normally I bemoan the fact that we are renters....this weekend I sang the renters praise song! It goes something like this...."We are so glad that we don't have to pay the $500 bucks that is charged for replacing the "specialized" motor." This is a song I could sing all day long.
