Good MORNING! Well...the thrill of having to be at work each and every day for the rest of my life again...has now worn off....completely! This morning when the alarm went off i actually convinced myself...in my mostly asleep state that i wouldn't be late if i shut my alarm completely off and then went back to sleep. Ha ha...right! Fortunately i know myself in the morning and i have a back up alarm in the other room. Just in case. i am so smart!

Okay so other stuff that's going on....i am moving Friday to my new condo. Yes i know...i've mentioned nothing about moving...mainly because i wasn't planning on moving until Sept 1st...but the landlord called me and said...i'll give you half the month free if you move in this month. Woo hoo...i am so outta my current place!

i drained my waterbed last night. Who's bright idea was it to have a bed full of water? Eeeeek! Not the best of ideas let me tell you.

Jim and i are still together. i am a bit perturbed by him at the moment however i am sure it's just the stress of going from all the time in the world....to working at least 40 hours a week AND having to have everything packed by tomorrow night. This too shall pass right? Right!

Hope everyone is good out there in blogland. Why are comments to theblogofdeb so scarce? Hmmm...don't make me blog stalk you guys! LOL

LMAO.......me and Barb were snippy when we were moving, I hate that but it was probably more my fault than hers. I can't tolerate the heat anymore, and it was darn hot when we were moving!!

Congratulations on Jim, he sounds like a cool guy.
I knew a chic who was in the SCAA, she had also been a marine so she thought she was more of a badass that the other members and demanded to be a knight( ess ).
Somehow in the military she had been taught some basic sword skills ( why I don't know, mostly the marines are a shoot n' scoot type of operation ) they have no desire to get bogged down in a swordfight.....LOL.

Maybe it was a martial arts teacher on base???

Anyhow she got a bunch of scrap metal together ( stop signs and the such )had some armor made, and challenged the boys, but she was in over her head big time. Every time she dropped her shield to find a target she would get firmly thumped on the helmet. By the end of the day she said she was crying because her ears and head hurt so bad.
I felt sorry for her, but then again she did act like a badass to a bunch of guys who's idea of a good time is drinking mead and hitting each other really hard with various weapons......LOL
