My once a month blogging habit

Okay folks so it seems I am good for about a blog a month.....life is so busy for me right now...it's amazing.

Eric (the little cutie pie) turns 2 on Feb 1st. Can anyone believe he's so old already? I have declared a "cease growing" but he doesn't listen. We (Rob and I) went over to Mom and Dad's house last night and Eric was playing super wrestler and as his poor Auntie Debbie was laying on the ground he came and body slammed me. :) What great fun!

Rob is making a sponge bob square pants cake for Eric's birthday party. I am a nervous wreck about it. We ordered the pan...it hasn't come yet. I can't imagine what we are going to do if it doesn't come. Rob said not to worry about it...he'll make sure Eric has a cake.

We are also painting our condo. Home improvement is great fun....at least that is what I keep on telling myself....once the painting is done I will be much happier! The house will be out of ruin again.

Rafiqe and Rob have some issues. Rafiqe plays with Rob and loves Rob but he seems to resent him at times too. If he doesn't get his way Rafiqe pees in the living room. Argh! Yesterday Rob cleaned off the patio with the hose....Rafiqe LOVES the hose he chases it...he bites the water....it's his little piece of heaven. Rob committed the cardinal sin of keeping the door closed and not spraying the Rafiqe as he wished to be sprayed. Rafiqe seeing this as completely unjust sprayed my living room carpet. Rob was not pleased...me either....but what can one do with such a stubborn little dog except put him in the cage and let him know that's just not okay. Rob says he's gotten rid of animals for less....I am not getting rid of my little baby dog. Paaaaaleeeeeease!

In Feb, Rob and I are going camping in Florence. This is the big SCA event. SCA (Society of Creative anarchism...a bunch of crazy people if you ask me!) These people set up tents and live like they would have back then. Rob is the "Kingdom sheriff" so he is going to be really busy. He gets to patrol in....get this....a golf cart! Now isn't that ridiculous? The whole point of this thing is to live like they would have back then. If my history information is correct Golf carts were not yet invented...yet Rob drives a golf cart around....shouldn't he be on horse back?

I wouldn't go at all except I have to be supportive. Darn responsibilities! I had to get clothes for this little wing ding....good thing I like the clothes....it'll be fun to dress up for a week.

My mom is going to take care of the "The love pig" (Sweet Pea) and "The Whizzer" (Rafiqe). Does she know what she has gotten herself into....nope...most likely not and I'm not telling her either!

Oh and something else about the SCA...you are supposed to come up with a persona....and you have to come up with a historically accurate name for yourself. Rob's SCA name is Dante. I thought I should be "Girl of Dante" aka "g.o.d" I loved it...Rob wasn't so excited about it...go figure.

Work just got busy....so off I go again to take care of these pesky card members. BTW I do read blogs even if I neglect to post on my own. :)
